whadda think?
I think it's good that they can find uses for old film props. Recycling and all that.

whadda think?
I dunno after 40 ****ing minutes I think i'd be bored of it even if it was 20 triple breasted alien hookers gang banging Pamela Anderson with various sex toys.
Also it's during an eclipse you'd think observatory staff would be setting up for taking professional and personal pictures of the event wouldn't you.
weather balloon
[sarcasm]So why should they?
1. They're Chinese, everybody know that they all have mega gadgets e.g cameras.
2. They love stuff like solar eclipses, to a point where they study it daily and have done for all of their lives, probably have telescopes and cameras at home, and at work.
3. They probably like to think about aliens, so any hint of an alien, like most people in their position, would want to get solid evidence of what they saw, being in an observatory and not in the middle of a field having a picnic with their friends looking up at the stars, they probably had decent cameras to hand.
Are you serious?
Forgive me if I'm missing the sarcasm because some people are mentally challenged enough to think like that.
That's the problem, you're completely ignoring, forgetting, dismissing or can't accept that maybe they did not. Not that I believe any of this, that's another discussion but your sweeping generalisations that they should have cameras, or would just go spend whatever they earn on buying a decent enough one is just silly.
You know, maybe they expected it to be just another eclipse and weren't going to use their own hardware but the observatory equipment, you know, working?
I'm interested in this field but I'm at the point that at lot of these events I no longer even bring a camera. You really miss out on the show faffing about with getting decent pictures, so most of the time I don't. So why should they?
anyone want to take a guess as to what tango will make up and come back with now to go against the 40 minutes and can't find a single decent camera thing?
mine is that he'll say how no one wanted to look away as it was a once in a lifetime thing blah blah blah
Total logic fail guys![]()

No one expects a UFO to hang around for so long do they.... When this stuff happens people just grab the first thing they can and film away, in case it disappears quickly like most of them.
Its not like the UFO was advertising "hi guys we are gonna be hanging around for a little while, so grab a camera".
Obviously if you and Tefal saw a UFO you would have one person actually filming it and the other searching around for and setting up their everyday binoculars/low-powered telescope with a camera attachment.

The incident follows a series of UFO sightings in China which culminated in an object being captured on film by students in Deqing. The footage, which was featured on Chinese television, appears to show the object repeatedly changing shape after initially appearing as a glowing blue sphere.
Can it be confirmedly said that 'we are not alone' and nine Chinese students have the proof on film?
Well blame the Telefail then, dont shoot the messenger!.

Scientists at the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing are reported to have confirmed that they filmed a UFO during the eclipse for 40 minutes. They say that they will spend the next 12 months studying the footage before drawing any conclusions.
