things to make you laugh in london

hey guys - I am taking a girl out on a date on tuesday (oh it's one of those threads) but instead of normal planning - I asked her what her favourite movie genre is and she said comedy

so I'm planning the date to have fun and laughs but not entirely sure where to go. Don't want to be cleche (spelling) and take her to a comedy club.

so first bit I want to go on the dodgems and play some old style arcade machines in the trocadero

but that's where my idea runs dry - anyone with any suggestions?

Don't overdo the comedy.

I don't find London very funny (apart from the mayor), so that's all I can offer.

Check the Guardian or Evening standard, you often see estabilshed comics testing out new matrial, FOR FREE!

They tend to stick to north London mostly. Angel/Islington

naffa - looked up comedy store players and they look interesting but aren't doing it on a tuesday, but http://www.spoonfed.co.uk/london/event/the-cutting-edge-684468/?expandcal=1 is happening so may do this, maybe some fun stuff before it and light drinks after?

it gets better - thank tefal guy's a legend and I've not met him lol. if I did - I would buy him a drink.

Pub quizzes can be pretty entertaining and it gives you a million talking points as well - plus if you are a trivia nerd you can totally geek your way into her pants with your brainiac prowess

Go to the Pasty Shop in Covent Garden, purchase a suitable pasty then while looking at her intently pound it again and again with your clenched fist until it is well and truly smashed.

I have found that london is not very original when it comes to humour - just comedy clubs. and avenue q.
