So I need a decent dessert.

Ideally not massively complicated as I'm not a great chief in regards to making recopies up, but when given explicit instructions can follow them pretty well :p

Not too chocolaty if possible, unless it's white chocolate, or something very exceptional in milk or dark :p



Also ideally little to no nuts.

Do you want to do this from scratch?

Rice pudding is quite easy iirc, or go buy some Ben and Jerry's or something? Go buy some apple strudel and cream?
 
Pancakes! Easy to make and there's any number of sauces to go with them. My preference is chocolate sauce with icecream but pancakes work with just about anything.
 
As much as i hate to say it pancakes and angel delight are winning.... wait that sounds awesome!

But sadly no, maybe another night :p

What is the purpose of this dessert? Impress lady? Just a nice finish to a meal? Knowing what it is for helps to understand what would be best, plus the other courses you are doing...?
