Traded it with some random person today after they found it and immediately crafted myself a lovely Your Eternal Reward. Only had it for about an hour but such a great moment where i came up behind a Heavy/Medic at the start of Manor (i was on Blu), killed the Heavy and the Medic didn't notice so went right on healing me... he even followed me healing diligently when i ran towards the Blu spawn and he promptly got gangbanged by 6 teammates :D

Now where am i going to get these 72 spare items to craft a bleeding Familiar Fez... anyone feeling extremely generous? ;)

It's still a class based FPS, but now you have optional weapons and items that you can equip for each class.

It's all pretty balanced as well, every + side a weapon has, it'll have some negative effect as well.

Is it still possible to play the game and ignore all this stuff without being at a disadvantage?
 
The problem is, lots of people here don't seem to know the value of certain hats.

Unless they're intentionally trying to low ball people.
 
Lol, i suspect most people don't know the value of anything, i certainly don't.

You can ignore hats certainly, you can only ignore the weapons if you go on an old school server. The first set of weapons is easy enough since you get them through milestones and they're all fairly common from random items, its the polycount stuff that sucks. Even if you get the weapons the hat for the set bonus is stupidly hard to get.
