'I Hate Ryanair' website dies and rises again

And? So because you're flying on a plain you can leave all the mess you have created behind? I suppose you do that on trains and buses as well then?

:o
The airlines that I fly with tend to clean their aircraft on turnaround, they don't ask me to do it. In my experience, the same is true of train and bus operators - to a greater or lesser degree - whether I leave a mess behind or not.

Feel free to start a site criticising the service provided by trains and buses if it bothers you that much. When any train or bus operator starts charging me a surcharge for paying for my ticket, I may well even visit your site :p

You mean because you're lazy and can't be bothered to tidy up you expect them to do it for you because you've 'paid' for the flight.

Most if not all airlines 'tidy up when people disembark', doesn't mean you should just leave your crap behind.

You are making a few wild assumptions here, aren't you sunshine?

Meanwhile . . . HERE is another Ryanair review site you might care to have a look at. The guy suggests some alternative low-price carriers - as he points out EasyJet rocks! ;)

Actually, I think that Dave Carroll of the band Sons of Maxwell's "United broke my guitar" is far and away the best Airline criticism creation . . .

. . . what's more, I think that it worked ;)

I would Rather have to stand on a ryanair flight than go anywhere near easyjet, they are completely useless. I've had 0 problems with ryanair over 30+ flights, yet easyjet all but one flight has been delayed and quite a few cancelled. Not to mention the rude staff and them trying to charge me to put my carry on bag in the hold because there wasnt enough room in the over head lockers (the bag easily fit into the rack thing to check if it was too big).

I'm actually disappointed that ryanair have pulled out of belfast city, now im going to have to use flybe, who i rank just above easyjet. That or ill fly BMI business and train up to the midlands.

Well, if O'Rally gets his way, you may well have the chance to stand up on flights . . . except that as you say, the World's most hated airline is no longer flying out of Belfast, apparently because Belfast City Airport were not allowed to ignore local residents' protests and do exactly as O'Rally demanded :p

That site / This thread is incredibly pathetic. Will make sure it is taken down, and not in the nice way.

Nothing wrong with Ryanair, people are just so bloody stupid not to read the small print. Idiots.

Funny eh, even though it says read the T&C's :p Then people get annoyed because they're over the limit, or there holdal bag is too big :p

Exactly.

You choose your flight path. Tells you the price, Add Luggage which is CLEARLY priced, tells you the weight allowance, next page, booking details, next page, payment which clearly tells you how much they charge for processing Credit / Debit cards. They tell you in the confirmation email and on their website that YOU HAVE TO CHECK-IN ONLINE. You normally have over 60 days to check-in I believe.

It's the LAZY stupid people that get charged for not reading the website and not reading the emails they send you.

AND you TICK the box which says you have read the T&C's. So when you get charged, you have no right to complain because YOU AGREED TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

They make money from the expensive price they put on baggage. £30 for 15kg and £50 for 20kg. They have a fantastic business model which makes them a very profitable business.

/Rant.

I also have applied the 1 star rating.

That site wouldnt be so bad if it offered an occasional snippet of fact, instead of just a rabid ranting of useless conjecture.

Flown with Ryanair once, wasnt greatly impressed but it was cheap. Bit stricter than other airlines but you get what you pay for.

Don't...you'll never make them understand!!!!!!

Yep :( Idiots will be idiots :D

At the end of the day, you are in the plane for 2-3 hours MAX. They get you to your destination, A) Safely, B) Cheaply. What else do you want from a Cheap Airline?

... [The world's most hated airline] charge for processing Credit / Debit cards ...
In your experience, is it common for e-tailers to charge for the use of debit cards?
Can you name many others who do this?
Can you name many e-tailers who only allow you to avoid a surcharge if you just happen to have one of their bits of plastic?

Perhaps if the world's most hated airline advertised their ticket prices with the debit card surcharge included and mentioned in the small print that it could be avoided if you signed up to their plastic they would be considered to be a little less devious. Fagin O'Rally pursues a positive policy of hiding the real price of the world's most hated airline's tickets and is regularly and quite rightly condemned for the practice.

If he doesn't like it - EXCELLENT! :D

I've flown Ryanair a good few times, and never had any problems. They make you fully aware of any 'additional' fees you have to pay and this was fine for me. I took that on board, and made steps to ensure I was happy with what I paid. For example, my friend and I just checked in one bag between the two of us and split the price down the middle.

No issues with flying them again whatsoever. They provide a cheap, useful service to many destinations which fills a marketplace. I wouldn't use them on a long haul flight, but for a few hours then I have no issues whatsoever.

People just like to moan, so I'm moaning about that.

Anything I purchase, I reserve the right to moan about.

As someone who uses them many times a year to see my girlfriend, I've got a fairly good "appreciation" of their services.

They are cheapest and they get the job done, which is why I use them. However, pretty much everything about the service is horrible. The cabin staff are often rude (don't really blame them given the pay and conditions), the decor is hideous, the music is grating, PR awful, pretty much everything else about the whole experience is nasty.

When it's cheaper, I use Aer Lingus, which despite being part owned by Ryanfail, is just a much nicer experience. Even the simple fact that seating is allocated prevents the cattle-like stampede when they call at the gate.

Coupled with my recent flights with other budget airlines such as Air Asia and Fireflyz, they were just so much better in every way (in fact Fireflyz offered the best airline experience I've ever had, despite being budget), including price (to be fair this isn't Ryanairs fault as its cheaper to run a budget airline in asia).

Of course I can fly with someone else, but it's at cost to myself for an hour flight. It would cost me about £600 a year more at least for the next alternative.

So I put up with Ryanair pretty much every time.

I don't see what all the fuss is about, just because I use them doesn't automatically rescind the right to moan about them.
