i think there is more to the 993 to 996 change than engine cooling.
the modern interiors dont grab my attention like the older ones. for example, the boxster and 996 speedo/tacho font. why did they have to change from the original porsche font? with the 996 form was an obvious consideration with the interior look where it wasnt in the past. it was too much of a change.

See now this to me further reinforces the point that a lot of what is said in threads like this is simply adopting the opinions of other people and presenting them as their own despite having never driven the car.

Hmm... That's actually something very difficult to put into words without saying something that'll obviously get me flamed.
It's just that some cars click for me and others don't. I just don't think something like a vanilla 996 would be my sort of car.
