New mods on my 997 C2S

I love the wheels, much prefer multi spoke one's like that, i don't like the 997 turbo one's at all for instance. Are they standard wheels?

Nice car, the spoiler especially suits it :D

What's the crack with those bumper things though on the back? Is it US law to have them? If so I'll just consider it the trade off for your awesome license plating system ;)

Awesome! I like that a lot. I presume the tints are there to actually serve a purpose in the Californian sun as opposed to aesthetic reasons. Not a fan of those at all on silver cars.

They are law here, they were introduced to help insurance companies out with all the slow speed impact claims. Essentially while ugly, they absorb the damage for a slow speed bump instead of the bumper, thus reducing the cost of the repair significantly.

Lovely car there.
Curious about the tints, they look very dark. Are they standard? Is the windscreen tinted?

Tints are not standard and no the windscreen isn't tinted, however all the other windows are. I'm sure the tint level is extremely illegal and in fact I'm probably going to have them lightened soon anyway. Over here in Florida the sun is baking hot, the tints help a lot with the sun and in fact headlight glare in the mirrors.

rear spoiler looks slightly diff colour . awesome car

I can assure you it's a trick of the light, since the front bumper and the rear wing were both painted at the same time by the same guy.

Are you the same guy that has a black Lamborghini Gallardo?

That was my Dad's but yes, I often post up my Dad's and my own cars as we change them. He sold the Balboni and bought a GT3RS (2011) instead just recently, I think I had a thread here about it.
