For me I'm completely uninterested in Driving games, and even less interested in Football games.

Last football game I played and enjoyed was Fifa 98: road to the world cup on the Nintendo 64 :D

And the last driving game I played and enjoyed was Need for speed: underground. Not the sequels, the first one and only the first one.

I'd happily say Need for speed underground is better than Forza 3. And i know how many fans of forza 3 would think. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT YOU BIG GOON! Which is fair enough :D

It is infact just how I feel about the game, It was the most fun I've ever had with a driving game, and I've never been able to replicate that fun since, although midnight club came close.

This is no doubt a good thread to have a good bitch about a game within a genre you dislike, and go for it. But in doing so, let's try to keep this friendly.

Beat em ups for me, just seems an entirely stale genre and has never really interested me.

Regarding driving games though, you need to split them into sims and arcade ones. NFS Underground was a great arcade driving game! Different genre to Forza (which is also great)

That is a good point actually, because I also enjoyed Test Drive 4.

So looking at the list, Test drive 4, NFS Underground and Midnightclub. it would seem I am not a fan of Simulation Driving games! And more a fan of the Arcade type.

Sports

It's very rare a sports game will get my hyped now, if I want to play football I'll play it. if they made Fifa 12 with zombies then maybe I'd get it, but otherwise, it's just playing what can be done outside.

Yeah me too, Flatout and Wipeout in particular :) I dabble with Forza but it doesn't keep me as interested for as long.

Beat em ups- mainly because unless you dedicate your every waking hour to them and buy a £100 stick they are no fun, it's no fun getting owned.

Serious Driving games - again it's no fun as £200+ wheel users are much much faster normally you'll never compete on a gamepad.

Football management games - zzzzz

Strategy games like civ and total war - zzzzz I love rts games though.

Japanese rpgs - overrated japanophile crud compared to western rpgs the glory days of nintendo are long gone.

Most driving games (Forza, GT5 etc). Don't mind things like Grid and Dirt, but would never go out a buy one, demo is enough for me!

Same with football games. Don't particularly like watching it on TV and hate/can't play the games.

RTS games are major hit and miss for me. The last one I played and enjoyed was Red Alert 2. Just can't be bothered with them.

Beat em Ups too. Would like to be good at SF and the like, but just don't have the time to play them a lot.

Driving games
FPS (Apart from Bioshock 1+2 and Half Life which were excellent)
Music Games (Rockband etc)
Beat em up games (Tekken etc)

FPS. I just think they're slowly killing the gaming industry.
Beat 'em ups. Button mashing has never ever floated my boat.
JRPG's. Just very peculiar.
Sports games. Last one I enjoyed was Leaderboard on the Spectrum 128. :D

A lot of hate for beat em ups, which is a shame as they require far more intelligence than FPS games to excel at, and there are tournaments (real ones, not online ones) all over the UK.
