BMW Bluetooth

What age of 3-series? You can get the dealer to retrofit bluetooth, but I'd research what phone you have against the bluetooth module fitted to the car in question by dealers, as it may not work.

If all you want is phone calls, routed through the stereo, muted properly, and answerable through the steering wheel controls, then you can get this functionality by fitting a cheap Parrot CK3000 Evo and a Connects2 box. Looks OEM, and works just as well assuming you don't want the voice command/phonebook stuff (I can still voice dial, but not voice command).
 
thanks people, the car is exactly what i'm looking for except bluetooth but it's a bit on the cheap side so i'm left thinking "what's wrong with it". :-/

anything i should check to make sure its legit? 2 owners since dec 2008 worries me slightly.
 
It costs about £250 to retrofit OEM bluetooth, but it's a days work and a lot of the interior has to come out. A friend of mine makes looms which are cheaper than the official BMW ones - he's called ccjf1 on bmwland if you want to PM him.

EDIT: oh wait, 58 plate - forget it then. Go for a ***** parrot kit as paradigm suggests. ;)

Thats probably a company plus 1 owner, dont worry about that.

Thats an odd car, its done no miles and its not the sort of car thats purchased to sit about, i wonder if its had a whack in its life.

Can't really tell on my phone but it looks like a facelift car with a pre facelift front which suggests a cheap repair following a smack?

He could have fitted the facelift lights to the back I guess but unlikely.

Will have a proper look later.
 
It's not so much the age because you are right, more the point that the front and back don't match. It may just be my tiny screen :p

Just ring and ask him is it on the list, its cheap with no miles, thats not a great combo.
