Well here we go, you can either give me verbal or be helpful here ;) :p

I really do want rid of this Corsa. I know I shouldn't have gotten it in the first place but hey ho. But it has served me well I think.

Anyway I've seen an 2006 06 ST for £4950 and been offered £3250 for my shed...

Seems a bit pricey to part ex for something only a year younger, but I know it should be a better car.

Is there anything I need to look out for on these Ford's?

Thanks

Do it as long as you promise not to ruin the handling with 20 inch pimp wheels and kenda keiser tyes. No drainpipes either.

You absolute swine Bryan x

I admire larger vehicles but just have a soft spot for small hatches.

Go for it pal!

Only things I'd ever do to it is lower it (I can't recall if they're high on the wheels?) and full exhaust system from top-to-bottom and chip it.

Everything else leave it as is.

So you would spend £1k+ striaight away?

Why not just put that towards a faster car?

No I wouldn't do those things immediately, just what options I would consider in the future. Not that any of them are OMG YOU MUST DOOOOO things.

Just to give it a bit more uummph, if he should so want.

It's a great little car imo, I'd like one!

I would get a one of those, but I know for a fact insurance would be an absolute fortune on a Clio 172/182

How much would insurance on the st be with the mods declared?

Can't believe how much you got offered for that nasty corsa!

Good price then? That would be without them 'godawful' wheels...

A standard ST would cost £1260 to insure  Vs £940 I currently pay...

Guess you could melt the wheels down or something

What are insurance prices for a modified st compared to a 182?

I wouldn't know about modified. I'd be happy with the look and engine as is.

But for me on the Clio I'm looking at well over 1600 quid insurance.
