BFBC2 OR MOH

What if people weren't looking at the game at the time of the beta. Beta's are for bug testing so would have been full of bugs.

The closed beta's certainly were, but the open beta's were both more of a sneak peak for people to try the game before release.

Hosting a multiplayer demo for a game is a lot of work and cost for a developer.
Do they keep it up to date with all the the balancing changes? Or do they have to develop and host demo only servers to segregate demo players?
How long to they need to support the demo and servers for? Months? Years?

It makes little sense for a developer to put all this expense and effort into a game when they've already had an open beta. The majority of really interested people will have looked at the open beta, and the pre-release sales drop off quickly for games of this nature.

I'm forever surprised at the BC2 love-in that is this forum.

Sure I played it for a few months but don't see what the lasting appeal is. If you think MOH is bad for cheap kills then you will hate BC2. Nothing but CG's and GL's flying everywhere.

Add that to the fact you'll no doubt be on a team of snipers who do absolutely nothing to assist you in capturing objectives.

I think MOH though not perfect, will hold my attention for longer due to the different game modes (not just 2) and people actually using the primary weapon for kills.

MoH is a lot easier to get cheap kills... I shot sniping is a massive cause. CoD gets away with it because the maps are so small and it is so fast paced and easy to be approached from behind, but in MoH, sniping is easy and effective. CG and GL have been balanced a lot, and as a result, their use has massively decreased.

Teams of snipers are in MoH too, and it really depends on the server you are on. A decent server will not be full of snipers.

And who doesn't use their primary weapon in BC2? Have you even played in the last 6 months? There are more than 2 game modes as well

Peeps seem to be missing the original question.

It is not about what game is better, just what will run better on the OP's lappy.

The answer, quite simply, is MOH.

for the love of god save ur money and wait for cod i really really didnt want to buy cod and bought moh and bfbc2 as replacements and have been hugely disappointed

BFBC2, great game and can be got pretty cheap at the moment, no brainer....

MOH never played it. Even if it was better than BFBC2 which by most reviews it doesnt seem so you cant go wrong with BFBC2.

Hours of multiplayer fun.... for years to come.

bfbc2 can be had for less than £15 for that money your getting a very good game thats easily worth a lot more there is no thinking to be done here...

moh is pants wait until its a fiver or they are giving it away

black ops for me even though there is no demo or beta to make judgement on it, I will be making the purchase and have seen online movies off the game that have got removed not long after released :-)

*Looks at laptop specs*

Have you ever played Battlefield 2?

Imho it is still more fun than BF:BC2 and the servers are still very active.

Also, BF2 should run OK on your laptop (HD 3430M graphics) - while BC2 will not play well unless you move to more powerful system.
