Scariest movie you've seen?

Paranormal activity? :( Mine has to be J.Carpenter's The Thing, followed closely by Event Horizon.
 
Arachnophobia really scared me as a kid. Since then.....Ringu, A Tale of Two Sisters, Ju-on, pretty much anything with little Asian girl ghosts.
 
Yeah Ringu was pretty horrific from what I can remember of it. Much better than the American version.

Arachnophobia has given me an irrational fear of spiders, Tale of Two Sisters was one of Tartan's least scary movies!
 
Duno, i find it very difficult to be scared in any films cos well u know how their made and just actors. :p Suppose at a certain age u just cant be scared anymore.

Now if i was about 9 again or so i cant recall the exact age i watched IT and Aliens, but both them scared the crap out of me when i was young. Nowadays they just are all fail because their either boring, not scary, or just pathetic and sad attempts at horror or thrillers.
 
for jump factor, i think the descent was pretty good at making me fill my undies. another vote for REC too. excellent film, make sure you see the spanish version not the crap american remake. :p

Descent is an awesome film! Dunno why it gets so much flak? 2nd one was good too, I thought!
