Has this ever happened to you before?

Bit of good fortune regarding online ordering today.

I ordered two high quality S-video cables 1x 0.5m and 1x 1m

The order came through the post on Thursday. Got another knock at the door today. Wonder who this could be, it was the postman again with the same order.

Why can't this ever happen with Playstations :) I've double checked and I've only been charged for one order.
 
Ordered some clothes and a poster from the US, got sent the same thing twice.

Still need to send it back actually
 
I ordered £400 of Argos vouchers once, they arrived, a few days later, another £400 of vouchers arrived !!! i waited 6 mths, wondering if they would ask for them back, but they never did.... so i spent them !!
 
i ordered a phone charger for my htc desire from ebay, got it 2 days later. another one came in 2 days after from same seller! never heard anything from him lol
 
I once bought a complete PC system etc.

Everything turned up except the monitor so contacted them to say hadn't got the monitor yet and a few days later the monitor and another PC system turned up.
 
I once bought something on Ebay, forgot to pay for it, and then it showed up a week later. Seller left me positive feedback and all.
 
This/similar happened to me with a LCD monitor, an SCSI adaper and a double oven. I had to contact the CAB.

As it's their honest mistake you should really let them know and then it's up to them to collect the item at your convenience, or not bother due to cost.

They may of course realise their mistake and get in touch. Either way it's still their property and you have a duty to look after it. You can charge them for storage and give them a reasonable deadline though.
 
Happened to me with an OCZ power supply years ago.

My original died and was sent two replacements weeks apart, (one direct from OCZ and another from the place i got it from).

One went in the pc and one went on ebay.
 
A few years ago (back in 2001 I think) I ordered a 28 inch CRT TV from somewhere online and it arrived a few days later delivered to my work address as specified. The next week, another one turned up. I decided to leave it at work for a few months to see if anything would ever come of it but unfortunately the place got burgled and the ***** stole the TV anyway. On the plus side, I was never contacted about it :)
