****Official Fallout New Vegas Thread****

So after playing it for some hours I like it, though I already notice the different issues like stuttering and NPCs getting stuck walking etc. When I started a new game the game froze on black screen for about 20 secs before getting to the name screen before freezing again. With problems like that already I can only imagine what it will be later on in the game :(

I don't mind that it looks the same, I'm very happy to be back in the wasteland but I do wish they could have fixed these sort of things.

I got hooked on ant nector and paying the docs to cure it has so far failed, so i'm stuck with -2ST.. perhaps I'm overlooking something?

I am enjoying this so far and just done the come fly with me quest - the ps3 version does seem to have a slight stutter but doesnt happen that often and hasnt stopped me enjoying the game .

Does anyone know how to modify weapons? I have a scope for the 9mm pistol but i cant find how to put it on :(

Edit - And how the hell do you play caravan!?

If you play the game through with Wild Wasteland trait first then you won't even know what it does. It basically triggers special versions of the wasteland encounters and adds silly dialogue according to Fallout Wiki. According to J.E. Sawyer, the trait was added as a compromise because different members of the team often suggested 'wacky' content that others thought would be out of place.

select the 9mm pistol and press RB (xbox) else looking up to the top right of the pipboy will show the button to use.

caravan game, i've no idea either :D

Do side-quests show up in the pipboy? I had a guy approach me to help him with his girlfriend who was surrounded by animals, but there was no waypoint on the map and he just wandered off

It seems some do and some dont, i left her to her death as i couldnt find her :)

I would class that one as more of a favour than a side quest, same with fixing your womans radio in goodsprings, it doesnt show in the pipboy you just have to remember them.
