Sarcasm failure!
Murders happen in Glasgow all the time, and all kinds of violent acts that would preticipate such events.
But most of them do find respectable jobs. How many gun toting 30 year olds who come from these areas do you hear of, im guessing none. Your comments are im afraid inherrently racist, as your need to keep stating their colour suggests. These are kids, how would they get a job they havent even left school. Maybe you should try and address how to stop the youths in this area having such low expectations.
Well, let me make myself crystal clear. Of course I'm aware the majority of them get respectable jobs and nowhere in this thread have I at any point said or even suggested 'ALL' are involved in guncrime. What I am saying is that youths of the black community seem to be more predispositioned to guncrime than anyone else. Does that make me a racist?
Yes there is with low levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
Education teaches reading and writing and counting
It doesn't make you racist, but it does make you rather thick.
If you took 1000 black and other ethnic youths and 1000 white youths from similar economic and social backgrounds with access to similar education in a similar economic climate, and THEN compared the number of them which had been murdered or commited a murder, what do you think you would find? You reckon you would still notice that black kids seems predisposed to gun crime or do you think we might find something out a bit less racist?
Doesn't make me thick at all. I'm going on reported facts in the news, while you're merely speculating. There are extremely poor and uneducated whites and other ethnics just as much as there are in the black communities, yet you predominantly hear about gun and knife crime from the black communities.
Yes, but its the reasons underlying that.
Just going on about how its the black community time after time is a bit thick if that's the only level of argument brought to the table.
Of course we need to solve the reasons behind it, but someone isn't 'thick' if they're talking of FACTS seen in the news on a regular basis.
But, it that's all you bring discussion wise without examining the underlying reasons or providing a solution... It is pretty 'thick' way to present it.
Again, what about Glasgow having the highest murder rate in Europe?
What is that saying? Not much without the colour of someones skin I feel around here...
