A Citroen BX 19 GTi Auto!
Not strictly speaking £33, but £100 - hoiwever we bought it as a joint project so £33.33 each!
This afternoon took a trip into London to look for a new car for my mum (since she wrote off her last), either way it turns out the car was a bit of a shed - but on the way back to our car out of the corner of my eye I noticed something for sale ...
Needless to say it didn't take long for my old man and best mate to take notice, and before I knew it we were signing a V5 - after stumping up £33.33 each we were left with the following:
1989 BX 19 GTi Auto
79,000 Miles
MOT July 2011
Tax Feb 2011
Looks to me like it has most of the options, including 4 electric windows, e-mirrors, ABS.
What surprised me most is the hydraulics all work fine, and the gearbox is really smooth and it goes surprisingly well. The outside is tatty but not terrible.
Either way, It will become a little project - maybe even with a project thread - just couldn't resist! Will stick up some more pics when its light.
