Are you hoping to pick up the cymbals pack to go with those wireless drums? If so, you'll unfortunately have to import them as they aren't going to market in EU.

Nah not bothered about cymbals just the wireless drums and a wireless strat would be nice. I've never yet had a guitar with the solo buttons. I didn't like the original RB strat and the RB2 one never got released here

Just a quick question guys, how do these transfer things work? Does it have to be a new copy of the game or can I get a used copy and use that? Also can I transfer songs from 1 and 2 into 3?

With RB1, you can use a used copy of the game as the export function is in the game rather than using a code.

As for RB2, we're not sure how the export will work yet, but it doesn't look like it's all the songs, but it is most of them.

Hmmm I take it all my DLC will transfer?

Not sure I like the sound of stuff not transfering over.

All DLC will work, the songs that are reported not to transfer are:

Metallica: Battery
Soundgarden: Spoonman/Black Hole Sun
Red Hot Chilli Peppers: Dani California

Possibly more, but like I said, it's rumoured, these may actually transfer and it's all wrong. We'll find out soon, and i'm sure HMX are working to get them all in RB3 eventually.

Cheers mate, I wouldn't be too sorry if Battery didn't transfer

I wish they would get Enter the Sandman across now though from RB1, gets on my bits lobbing that disc in just to play that.

Will I have to pay twice to import RB1 and 2 into RB3?

Or can I just import everything from RB2 now?

Haven't been following this because I wasn't planning on getting it, but I have next week off so might as well jump in.

You'll only have to pay to export RB2, you've already exported RB1 iirc.

Keyboard, yea the shifting looks odd, but i'm sure it's something that will be adapted to very quickly.

Cheers creature, Just been doing some looking for a wireless strat, I see madcatz have the wooden one releasing for £50 odd quid. Heard anything good or bad about it?

I would have liked just the plastic one but they are not even on ebay at the minute.

Cheapest I've found the game is £34.99 but never used the store before.

I've used them once for Mass Effect 2. They were fine but it wasn't a pre order so I don't know how quick you'd get it.

Like i said iv pre ordered the game with the pro guitar, Ill have to wait a week to get the keyboard with the stand then the drums the following week as my RB1 kit has also seen better days

I so cant wait for this game

I have about 200 songs as DLC will all these work on pro guitar from day 1 does anyone know?

No old DLC is being updated "as yet" apparently...

Pro guitar is a seperate charting thing so only rb3 tracks + future dlc for now

Pro drums will work for pretty much every song though

Also missing 5 songs in the rv2 export:

Battery - Metallica
Spoonman - Soundgarden
Dani California (technically rb1) -RHCP
Let There Be Rock (!) - AC/DC

and the biggest shocker (for me anyway...)

Anyway You Want It - Journey

Also 9 HMX artist songs missing at the moment but coming as free DLC later.
