I'd say the bullet time lasts at least as long as in any other game that uses the same mechanic.Yep. If you like the demo, you'll love the full game. If you didn't like the demo, then obviously you won't. Ok, stating the obvious there, but hey...
Some of the levels are just visual overload and look amazing. Combat feels solid, and the framerate seems pretty rock solid, even in the thick of it.
You're playing it wrong. It's not really a cover based shooter.
However, i'll be waiting for bargain bin. Too much stuff coming out at the moment.
Stupid game industry never learns, last year they all decided to stagger their releases outside of the Christmas rush and staggered them ALL into February/March. Obviously that didn't work so everything is getting released in October/November again this year.

Another place did a preorder with a "free" copy of Bayonetta. However, they charged more than you could get them individually for.
no, youre penalised for taking cover in this game.

At a certain supermarket they are giving away Alpha Protocol with it, hooray.
A bargain bin one for me this, too many games coming out soon and my wallet cant take the pounding.
Ok been playing this today and I must say after you learn the controls the game becomes very addictive, I am not a fan of shooters at all. I prefer games like Diablo, Torchilight, Hack n Slash.. but Vanquish has me hooked, I must have been trying to kill the first boss most of the day, but I never got bored of trying unlike I would most other games, there is something about vanquish that makes you want to keep replaying.
For those who have only saw the videos on youtube, if you think its a hide and shoot game it is nowhere near as easy at that, especially at bosses, they shoot at you with missiles that go around where youre hiding and can hit you, you are almost constantly made to move around the area, when you enter bullet time you can only remain there for a certain time because your suit heats up then you need to wait for it to cool down, which is good because it doesnt make the game too easy.
At the end of each act you are given a score for how long it took you to do it, enemies killed, time spent hiding etc.
So far I am giving it 8/10, as I have only played Act I, could potentially be a 9/10

If you save the two gun turrets on the balcony (don't use them to shoot the reinforcements that come in before the boss) and use them to damage the boss core when it's exposed, you can take it down very quickly.

Managed to pick this up dirt cheap due to having a few points on a reward card.
Started on Hard mode today and it's bloody solid!!
Not sure I can finish this.. I'll give it a go.
Not much of a story to it but it's a no brainer sort of game.. Still pretty fun but good lord there is a lot going on in it lol

Well i picked this up via trading some games in + used reward points to get it cheap and i love it, One Act 3 5 i think not sure might be Act 3 - 4, Doing it on casual (not the auto one)
Still even then ive died a couple times partly down to my own stupidity but im aiming for the no death trophie (yes i like trophies something extra to aim for
) So tip for any one else doing it when you die select title screen as it doesnt record your death then, And then just continue from title screen and viloa you never died

That's pretty handy to know
Not too worried about dying on my first run through (I just enjoy the game and don't think about the trophies first time round), but I did think that was one trophy that would prove impossible for me later on.

Managed to finish this on Wednesday on Hard and I'm now making my way through on Casual finding the Statues and trying to get the "no deaths" achievement.. which will then leave me only with the secret achievement to work out before trading on Tuesday for Seasonal Duties
