because he singled out the guy in the video and didnt tar every single person who has ever been arrested with the same brush :p

I've seen bus drivers, paramedics, fire fighters, police officers and way too many door stewards getting walloped for doing nothing more than doing their job. While I agree with your comments about being able to quit Begbie, every one of those people has just the same right to work without fear of violence as you do in your place of work.

If every fire fighter, paramedic, bus driver, door steward and police officer quit their job after a single act of violence had been inflicted on them, we as a society would be in serious shtoomb.

It can be said that (sometimes) the rewards for providing these services can also make it worthwhile taking the risks in the first place and that can't be a bad thing can it? ;)

Its not going to be a nice job all the time but that is the job. If you cant handle yourself in the manner required then you shouldn't do the job.

There is no excuse for what that chap did when the guy was tasered on the ground. What went on before hand, unless he had a knife or gun is largely irrelevant. There is a crowd watching by the sounds of it so I doubt the guy was going mental and was massively dangerous.

For the number of cops we have in this country and the amount of **** on the weekend im surprised that more of these videos dont appear.

I did love the picture of the cameraman at the end saying how he got out of there quickly after seeing it as he thought he might be next for a tasering.
 
The problem the Police have is simply the 97% of the bad ones making the 3% of the good ones look bad too.
 
think if that guy getting punched in the face was platinum87....would the police officers be wrong knowing how dangerous he is ?
 
Police think they are beyond the law..

they will do as the see fit for "fun"

I know a cop who has admited useing his taser and punching people becuase they could and it was the only fun that they had in there job.

The English police are morons that cant do anything correctly.. Thank god they arnt allowed Guns like in the US
