i need more space now the crucial 128gb drives are reasonably priced at the moment should i get one or should i wait for teh new intel ones....when will they be out...using a 80gb x25 at the moment.

February for the Intel Drives. I don't expect the next gen Sandforce any sooner than that either.

Always something around the corner. 256GB Crucial M225 can be had for £300 if you're not bothered about having a 6Gb/s drive.

I would get the C300 128gb or the 256gb if you can afford it. I have the C300 64gb and it is very fast. My system is so much more responsive then with my rapter HDD.

You've got the money and you've got the desire? So pick the best you can afford at the moment and go ahead...The waiting game is not worth it as new and faster products are released on a continuous basis

Any idea how much the new intel G3s will be? Because i can get a 60Gig sandforce for £90 and i'm tempted for my OS Drive.

For me I'm waiting.. I need a critical price point capacity ratio rather than a speed increase... the g3 Intel ones st 160 gb represent the buying point for me.. if you're just waiting for a performance increase, yes something will be right around the corner.. but if like me you are waiting for a 'point' I think the wait is worth it

im thinking of getting a 60gig drive for now just for OS to speed up the operation of my pc then bang it in my laptop when i upgrade for a G3 or w/e is out
