Facetious comments aside, not all men are after tall dark and handsome, so don't get hooked up on it. Personality, humour and intelligence are powerful allies - furthermore, some women like blonde men too! haha!

Don't get hooked up on what the stereotypes say, be yourself, and be confident in yourself and don't try and be someone that you're not.

It's not really advice, just don't beat yourself up on trivialities. Not every girl wants a tall dark person, not every girl wants a guy who's as wide as they are tall, not all girls want brad pitt etc... Everyone is different.

Offer a girl what you have, be genuine, honest and confident and it'll open many more doors than trying to be the "cool dude". :)

Yep, I am 6ft 2ish, have a natural tan (my mother is part native American Indian) and my wife things I am ruggedly handsome (what ever that means)...


but it's all about confidence and how you project yourself. Confidence (not arrogance) gets you laid...
 
I'll just give this example:

We have a chap at work, very very skinny for a guy, completely average looking, light blonde hair, bit of a squint nose. He gets insane amounts of attention! Why? Because he dances around like a kid, talks to anyone and is generally the biggest flirt I've met. He gets more attention than me and well, you've seen me :p

I'll confirm that's the case. Personally I find the gay rogering more annoying then your personality.
 
I would say it's more of a natural instinct thing. When a female looks for a mate I think it is said that they look for characteristics that they would like in their child if they had one with that person.

Tall = Strong, protector, provider.
Dark = Exotic, healthy, isn't it not just a reference to hair but eye colour?
Handsome = Some sort of survival thing, more likely to reproduce and attract future mates?

I don't think it is a formula for what every woman looks for in a man though.

Well I'm not that skinny but could be called lean and have a big nose rather than a squint nose.

I'm a favourite amongst the women here and I have firefighters as competition..
 
I'm 6ft 4in, dark brown hair, and not too ugly. Yet I don't get girls flocking towards me. FML.

And no, NOBODY would say I was pretty.:eek:

Also, being single is a definite blow to finding women for some reason. It's like a job, it's easier to find one when you already have one...

Ah well that’s the old 'wonder if I can pull this guy away from his current lass' syndrome. This means more to a woman when they get something they thought they couldn't get, and makes them feel better and more empowered.

Its like when two kids have to share a toy, one kid has it, the other one wants it. Once the other kid gets it, he gets bored of it and then the toy is forgotten about.. Woman operate the same way..

Oh and women flirt with attached men more, as they feel safer you might not try anything on... Until you do, and then they soon run away..
 
Well, at least I got the tall part right. My beautiful darks locks are flecked with grey, and handsome, well, I don't know about that :p

What is 'tall'? I'm like 5"10, but I've never really felt that tall...

Also dark? Dark skinned or dark haired? Both? :/

Handsome is subjective.
