Kind of on topic I guess. I bought myself a 96 1.8 import last week. (paid double what you did LOLFAIL!!)
What are the forums I should be looking at. Looking to pick up a few bits.
Congrats, but open LSD =

What's an open limited-slip differential?
Just wait until you get to drive it on snow....
You say that...I said that too and have racked up loads of miles already.![]()

Real men don't need surgery, but then you have bought a hairdresser's car.![]()
Drove mine through all the heavy snow last winter and a lot of that was on roads that hadn't been cleared or gritted. The only place I got stuck was works car park which had snow very deep.
Of course it was interesting to drive in that weather, but the skinny wheels/tyres compared to most RWD cars means it wasn't much of an ordeal. I certainly fared better than most![]()
I had a right hoot driving to work in mine last year, on about 2 inches of snow. It was 5:00am, totally deserted so I spent most of the journey going diagonally up the road. It's a very easy car to control.
The only problem was when I got to a big hill and stalled it halfway up. I had to ditch the car and get rescued after that because any attempt at going forward ended up with me going sideways.
In sensible snow driving it's actually quite good, I had the 1.8 and it holds on in 5th quite nicely.
The car died of rust after that winter, woops.
