Women!!

She looks nice, take her out :)

Delete your ex, make your profile private. Make a new album, with picture(s) of girl on your lap, in bed with you, etc put them in album, make album public. Sorted.

Ex's are exes for a reason, why should you stay single just because she dumped you.......she didnt love you anyway ? So you werent even in a relationship if you think about it, just friendship.

If she had loved you my reply would be a lot different.

She seemed nice enough - but as said previously, not looking for anything yet as I am not over my ex - today for instance I had nothing to do, and started getting a bit down as you start to dwell and think about them, until I don't feel like that it wouldn't be fair for me to get with someone.

I am friends with my previous 2 exes (one of 4 years - old school members may remember her, lol) - and I have no intention of blocking her or the like, we share a lot of friends as worked together and I find that a bit petty - I shall let her sulk for a bit.

That's the right way to do it. Don't rush into anything because you don't need to. Go out and enjoy yourself but let the ladies wait until you're happy to look for someone else or it will only end in misery.

I see what you mean but i find that if you have no method of communicating with your ex online (as its easier to emotionally communicate online than on a phone) and she doesnt like you anymore, its easier to move on.

I used to mope around when i broke up with a girl who didnt love me but then i realised shes just going to use me when shes feeling down.

You know the old saying, the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else...it works!

"omg - regardless of whether I ended it, I wouldn't expect you to be with some other girl so quick, if I did that I wouldn't hear the end of it..."

To which her reply would've been "It's none of you business who I socialise with, OMG get over it, OMG you're sooo jealous, OMG I sooo did the right thing dumping you..... like....OMG!"

True, and I agree - but I don't think it's right to get under someone to quickly; fundamentally it is probably why we didn't work out - she ended a 2year relationship and got with me, and i think the fact she didnt have that time to get over it, caused issues - and hence her contact with the ex still.

Remove her from your friends list and forget about her

This and ignore her when she starts to wail why have you taken me off facebook!!!111!!.

My ex did more or less the same with me when she broke up with me...tbh i just laughed at her when she rung me and said she had heard that i was back on the dating scene so to speak...i just told her its none of her business and hung up the phone...que plenty of texts asking why i was being an arse but like i said i just ignored them and she soon stopped....now im in a much happier place with a lovely fiancee that i shall be marrying soon.

Just look at it this way, you probably had a very narrow escape with your ex here. Imagine her not breaking up with you and a picture where nothing happened like that one got back to her in the future, she'd have had your jewels on a chopping block so fast...

I wouldn't have been at the party for one - would have been with her more then likely, or she would have been at party with me, and second wouldn't have been so relaxed and more aware - point is im single, so those things don't factor!

High five for recovering so quickly and high five for pulling a fair decent rebound with very little work!

Lads... I didn't pull lol - nothing happened, what so ever - well other then said pic - and the fact I got her a glass of water as she was blowing chunks down the toilet!

lol - no, I am not looking for a relationship at the moment - I do need to move on first; maybe it;s because I know what was going through my head at the time, which was nothing to do with said lady on lap - I was just ****ing about with my mates (dressed as 118 118 guys) and playing ring of fire trying not to get depressed that my (ex)gf doesn't love me.

The girl on my lap was nothing, didn't even trigger a reaction.

Well in that case trust me her name and mobile number, I'll travel to Southend-on-Sea for a cute face like that! :p ha, Just messing....maybe

True I guess, but the reaction when it really had nothing to do with her suggests she wasn't going to listen or be understanding if it did concern her either.

TOO nice.

Did you at least get her number?

Btw, i remember your other break up thread from like 5 years ago. You've grown up!!! This is much better!
