Decided i'd take some snaps of the 600T I migrated over to a few weeks ago. I've wanted an 800d for a long time but could never justify spending £200+ and I didn't want the 700d, so when the 600T came out, it was perfect

Anyway, on to the pics, excuse the dust lol

Decided to swap my ugly red/orange/blue SATA cables for rounded Akasa black SATA cables all round

Just need NZXT to do some USB Case header braided cables and we'll be set

Absolutely loving the 600t with the H50 in push/pull, everything is nice and cool and the ambient temp inside is nice and low. The built in fan controller on top of the case is very very handy indeed.

Best case i've owned so far!

The stock fans are spot on, nice and quiet at a decent RPM. I've only seen one guy on here moan about the fans to be fair. One thing I don't like about them is the white LED, i'm gonna take them out, they're quite bright and light up the room at night, no need for them really.

I went for the H50 cos it was £40 :) and I got the two apaches for £10 ... The H70 is £80+

I like the case but makes you wonder why it couldn't be full aluminium ? if they can do the 700D for £145 then ......

Because only the size would then be the difference between the 600d, 700d, and 800d and besides the 700d is a hot box ... this is something a bit different. It's very sturdy and solid though, the sides and main chassis is allu though

I dont mind not being able to see inside during operation, however if they brought out a windowed side, it might be worth a purchase to compare lol

cheers fellas

Actually none of the 600T case is aluminium. It's steel and plastic.

I'm going to be modding my 600T sidepanel with a 250mm fan soon :D

Those stock 200mm rebadged Xigmatecs are very anemic with only a 20mm depth, they don't push much air to help cool an SLI setup. A sidefan should help a nice bit like on the HAF-X, combined with a 120mm Silverstone Penetrator in the top HD bay blowing directly into the GPU's intakes.

That would be me that complained about them. And you must be joking about them being spot on. Or else you have the case under your desk, in a very loud room, or have very loud gpu's in your case as the front stock fan even on lowest rpm has a lot of turbulence due to the closeness to the grille, and there is a low pitched whining noise from the motor. To be honest it's only noticeable on the front fan. I've built 3 systems in the last week with this case so it's not a once off. I'm not surprised as these are just rebadged xigmateks which are not the greatest quality to begin with. If you look on the Corsair forums, XS, Hardforums and lots of other places you will see others complaining of exactly the same thing. Corsair should have designed the case with 30mm thick fans in mind and then we would have had the option of much quieter aftermarket 200mm fans. These are 20mm fans only which leads to the other complaint - they don't move enough air to consider the case to be one of the top air cooling cases. Bittech also agree on this. I would say airflow is sufficient. If you reverse your rear outtake so it's an intake that helps a bit. I've also replaced the top HD bay with a fan so help cool the GPU's more directly. Overall happy with the case. Am hoping some decent and quiet 20mm thick fans come on the market soon.

For that sort of price I think I'd prefer to see atleast some aluminum on the chassis. Looks nice though.

Yup, under the desk at the back so can't hear it much. What did you replace the fans with if you dont mind me asking?

I would replace the top 200mm fan with a pair of Akasa Viper 120mm fans, and link them to the 2 Akasa Vipers on the H70 which are in push pull. So they would run under 800rpm most of the time. However I don't think the 200mm fan on top is too bad for noise. The worst offender is the 200mm front fan. The only suggestion I have would be a Coolermaster Megaflow fan but this required modding the case as that fan is 30mm deep.

just built up my 600T, im happy with the cooling capacity. i am using a H70 with only one fan running at low speed blowing out of the case, i cannot hear the case fans over that sinle H70 fan on slow speed.

CPU idle temps are 33-36 degrees at an ambient of 20-25, i ran a test with prime 95 and the niether of the cores passed 69 degrees, with both H70 fans on slow this value was 61 degrees max (this is all with the case fans on lowest speed).

Very nice build. Very clean. Wish I could put my HD bay where you have it. Damn AX1200 and extra wide Rampage III are to blame.

Yes, I couldn't hear the case fans either when I used the stock H70 fans. Even on low speed which is 1600rpm those Corsair fans are NOISY :D

thanks, im quite happy with it considering its my first build, the case design makes it easy, although there is a few things i would change to make it even better.

im going to try slow the H70 fan down even more, if thats no good i will replace the stock H70 fan with somwthing else

thats how the corasir psu cables come, they are very stiff and hard to route, not so bad when you get the hair dryer on them to soften them up

edit - just seen the cables in terrier_jimlad's build

As you can see from the pic I am running the atx, 2 8pin eps, 4 pci-e, and a molex through that tiny hole. It bulges a bit a bit at the side and makes it impossible to slide the HD rack all the way back. May have another go at getting the cables tighter together. Will also have to do something about the switch connectors for the case at the bottom of the motherboard as they get in the way slightly too over using very long heatshrink.
