problem is they sell out so quick unless you get there early , i done this will modern warfare and could not find a copy anywhere so ended up getting a max price copy of the internet

does any rank scores from modern warfare 2 get carried over to this or is it a complete new start as in leveling up in multiplayer?

seing as it has nothing to do with modern warfare i dont even see why you would think that at all...
so im gunna say no.
on a side note, got to play this at work for 20-30 minutes last night and its better than i thought it would be but still not worth the price tag though.

just out of curiosity, why would you care about rank system anyway? since on mw2 there are over 100k cheaters. before the "real" ranked people.
unless your on about your actual rank, as in the level of your account.

not sure, but it wont even matter on some maps, since it takes about that to see someone from the other team. lol

to be honest im not bothered one bit i was just wondering , ive only just started checking out black ops so was just wondering about the level system but its not something im gonna lose sleep over
ahhh...
the leveling system is pretty much the same. the big diffrence being the cod credit system, that allows you to buy the guns/gear you want instead of just getting a gun that your never gunna use.(along with some you get at certain levels like previous COD games)

I've had a look there and i can't see any option to actually preorder it? It's just telling me it's out of stock!
MW2 was critised for being too easy on Vet. It's not confirmed anyway that it's every where. Might just be a couple of spots.
You pre-ordered Danny or you picking it up on the day?
I'm still not sure, my plan was to buy for the zombies and MP and delete it from my account when I get rid of it. I don't have the stomach for another run through the same old SP game. Sadly though they have added MP achievements so I won't be able to delete it from my account afterwards
Which will force a Sp playthrough because the whore inside of me won't allow the game to sit there with a few achievements.Have a look on hotukdeals the link is there. I'm not sure I'm allowed to post a direct link for tesco on here. It's there for order I just tried. For that price I'd be tempted to pre-order and just return it if a better deal comes along.

Well at least it was more realistic than WaW with the grenade spamming/constant re-spawn until you reach a special point on the map.
Again that never happened, you're making it up. It happened in two spots in the game.

the way MW2 handled enemies in SP is far better than Cod4/WaW.
