sorry gaffer, I have googled and have come up with nothing anywhere near as close, however (I hope this is ok to post) you could get 2 or 3 of these ?

Ha! ... nah it was the shaggy hair that did it. Really testing out what a 35mm f/2 might look like. Being as the 50mm f/1.4 is a little long for street candids in crowds.
Lightroom - desaturate, vignetee & cross process. Also used a preset to push the clarity and vibrance.
All of them great shots! Much better than I have taken. I was too caught up in experiencing Borough market that I only took a few there and it won't be till the weekend that I go through them. At least, I can get some inspiration for processing them.

lol i was on there this morning considering getting a CAnon TS-E 17mm or block paving my driveway
Finally getting round to posting a few pics as I have been rather busy since we got home. It was a brilliant day and a pleasure to meet you all, I just wish it wasn't such a trek!
I'm not sure why but my composition seems uniformly rubbish from all my shots across the day. I think I was (stupidly) a little unwilling to use the kit lens at canary wharf which I think would have given me more width and there always seemed to be people in front of me at the market but hey excuses excuses. Maybe I'm just jealous of the cracking shots everyone else took.

Haha, good spot. The other one in full set is much worse!
laiman, mind if I save the Flickr pictures with me? I usually hate being in front of the lens (mainly because I get uncomfortable and/or start pulling faces) but I quite like the one on the escalator.

).Really just me being equally envious, I know Gaffer was in my face with a 16-35L?? at the same time so I'd like to see the reversal.

I'm preferring that one. And I wasn't lonely at all. I was happy as a sandboy. I had found a different point of view and was merrily working away on how best to capture it.

Brilliant it's like some sort of photographic paradox! mmm had a go with one of those once, not many lenses where you can be that close and still get everything in!

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Jonei, I would be laiman's long haired, glove wearing friend who was there. I would have posted earlier but I have just got my account activated.
Absolutely loved the day, I don't do much urban photography so I wasn't expecting to get much worth while. But I got some I love and just want to say thanks to the group for showing us round some great places.
