so we can talk about the graphic novel instead? cos its basicly the same story lol

Seems fair enough to me, no different to talking about the novel of The Hobbit when the movie comes along. Dont see that discussing the novels of something is an issue, just the tv/film versions, the difference between (as I mentioned earlier) discussing the entity rather than the content.

That, and talking about things before they have been released usually points to it's acquisition by less than legal means which is a no-no around here.

some of us can actually watch it as its aired, and i would never say anything apart from it was excellent. I know for sure that i wont be reading a thread about the next series of doctor who, i'll just wait till BBC America airs it about 6 months after.

on a side note, AMC is getting some great programs, looks like it could be the next HBO.

Looks like it is going to suffer from SGU syndrome. Too slow, too much talking, too much melodramatic emotional rubbish, and over-acting.

Had to fast forward through half of it.

Yeah I was going to add that to my post but thought it was too obvious. Of course a lucky few live in the states and get these programmes before the brits,

It was the pilot of a new show, it has to set up some of the characters, atmosphere and the plot. There was plenty of action for a pilot.

You stupid or something?

Discussion of the graphic novels should be kept to a different thread IMO.

Otherwise it would just ruin it for those only following the TV show.

Reviews/ratings/etc have all been extremely positive - which is great news for the chances of it getting renewed.

I've seen advance reviews, you should wait for the second episode.

The first of the trade paper back graphic novels was also very slow moving as I recall and the pace only really picked up after it and as this is pretty much following that i'd assume as the scene has been set we can get to the good stuff from episode 2 onward!
