*****Ultimate Football Manager 11*****

It's available for Pre-Loading on Steam right now!

Unlocks at midnight tomorrow... say goodbye to your family and friends. :D

Yeah im guessing everyone has their own experiences either way, an extra 2-3 weeks does sound a little too much there either way

Question. I like to play FM setting goals and challenges for myself. Though I'm also a fan of achievements. Do some of you FM players go all out to complete those achievements rather then attempt your own little goals?

I tended to enjoy the achievements but wouldn't say I went out of my way to get them.

I tend to make a mental list of what I want to achieve each season and will end up hitting some of the achievements along the way.

For example, I don't enjoy international management on FM so I don't have any of those done, I'm sure I could get them :p

If this years are anything like last years, you'll get quite a few by just playing :)

Anyone getting it from Zavvi might not have it for Friday...According to a couple off people on the SI Games forums you might not have it for awhile.

Ahh what a ball sack, I hope this isn't true.

Edit: Just had an e-mail saying my order can't be cancelled as it is being prepared for dispatch. Hopefully it doesn't take too long

Strange yous mentioned about Zavvi,

Mine came yesterday from them, although im in Northern Ireland

Wonder if they come from their warehouse here rather than being shipped from the mainland?

I got my copy from ShopTo.Net this morning cannot wait to play.

But I think I will wait for the first patch to come out. Hopefully it comes out today and not tomorrow.

According to Zavvi my copy has already been dispatched, which came as news to me as I had no idea I had even ordered a copy with them. Guess that changes my plans about waiting until the Christmas holidays so it didnt get in the way of uni work. :p

woo hoo so excited I've got my copy as well!!!! :)

in the past I normally managed the big teams but this time maybe I could do with a different challenge in the lower leagues or somewhere away from england.

any ideas?

I'll probably do what I always do; Start a season as Manchester United > Scout an absolute tonne of players and enjoy a few seasons. Then give Sheffield Wednesday a go and get depressed and crawl back to my Manchester United save.

Not sure if it's changed this year, but haven't FM always had an offline install option from the disc?

Haha! What a plan!! :D Have you never dragged Wednesday all the way up?? (wouldn't have thought it was too hard...)

I like taking Southampton back up, but that was too easy in the last one with a sugar daddy chairman. I usually give a few l2 teams ago, the real challenges were Shrewsbury (who seemed to refuse to ever have ambition to get beyond l1), Wycombe (who are even worse!) or my new fav team Burton Albion  (got them to the championship and got so excited at Jimmy Bullard agreeing to wind down his carer with me)

Still only a day to go!!! :D

I think it was on Fm 09' I took Wednesday to the top of the Premier League, but it was a lot easier then :p

The problem I have with Wednesday is that they just have no money :(

The team now, is an old (ish) team and isn't amazing and really does need a few million to spend :p

I think I could do it this time, and I probably will, I just think it will take a bit longer :p
