Your lucky. Most places don't accept fax copies.

What is the deal they have offered?
What? Dealers of Post Office?
It was the dealers idea...
We though't that they could tax using their company policy but according to them the rules have changed recently.
That must have been between now and August this year then because mine was taxed by the dealer, it was done using the free 7 day insurance
She couldn't take the 7 day insurance option as the company wouldn't insure her. (23 year old, 1ncb, Group 17 car).
A dealer should be able to tax it without your cover note, when I go my Focus the dealer did it.
Also what was wrong with the OP's Corsa?? I may have missed it :S
When taxing a car they need to see the V5 and and insurance cert and they both have to be in the same name.

I'd rather a Corsa then a Focus, any day of the week & in any condition!
