I did read the text. You think about what you wrote maybe.

I'd have to have a team of mechanics come with me to check all is well before handing that kind of money over for a car which has done over 110k miles.
Still, it does like a deal and a half, which instantly makes me worry
Just out of interest, how much would that have been new?
Some people selling a perfectly good well kept car just cant see the point of a flowery advert, it just wouldnt enter their head.
I bet you're glad i started this thread now![]()
Personally I wouldn't touch it, and you'll prob laugh at my reasoning, its 10 years old, 5 years ago in 2005 top gear did a Porsche challenge and Clarkson used a 10 year old 1995 Porsche 928 and although it won the challenge it wasn't something I would like to own.

Mark’s got the right idea. Buy cars that are cheaper than they should be...
Look out for poor pictures and descriptions, little detail and other things that would normally put people off. Those cars will have a low demand (as we’ve sown in this thread, some people are put off), low demand = a potential bargain.
Someone call the bloke in the ad above and get the lowdown on the car, what the worst that can happen. You loose two minutes of your life, a bit like I have writing this.
I would do that just to ask how long hes had it, but i dont want to **** the bloke about.
Do you think you could make a profit out of it Mark? What if you were to keep it for a couple of years? Profit still if continuing the service schedule? How much would servicing even be? Genuinely interested, no chance I could afford to insure, nevermind put petrol in her!
On the subject of the actual car, rather than the owners spelling... how reliable is a 100k miler 996 Turbo going to be?

I don't think there is much profit to be made but I do think that you could run it for 2,3,4 or 10 years doing 6000 a year and it would still be worth 20k
