This game really wasn't on my radar until I read some hands on previews in various magazines. I thought, it'll be another FPS just like CoD. However, a lot of games journalists are saying that the game and the way it is played feels a lot more like Half Life 2 than it does Call of Duty and that's what caught my attention.

Needless to say, once I heard of that comparison my interest in Homefront shot up and I can't wait for it to be released. What are your thoughts on this game?

Yeah you play as a resistance fighter, a little like in Freedom Fighters (amazing game that) and it'll be interesting to play from the viewpoint of a civilian in an occupied nation instead of as another soldier.
 
Thought I'd pop a little bump here. Just saw this on TV previewed and I think it sounds fantastic!! North and south korea reuniting and then aiming for world domination? I love a game that's based on possibilities and facts. By all accounts the game has been designed from the ground using real world consultants from the likes of the CIA and other real world sources.

This might one of the first fps's i have played in ages that has real depth to the story.
Really excited for this one.

Really? This months Official Playstation mag had a hands on preview and said it was pretty run of the mill :(

I hope they are wrong though as it looks very good and the story sounds pretty cool.
