No they don't?
Sorry to burst your bubble but most companies will figure this is in to your total entitlement.
28 days by law plus say 7 or 8 for "public" holidays. If the company you work for is open for business on Easter Monday and you take it as a holiday it will be taken from your total entitlement.
No "public" holidays are guaranteed by law - only by what your contract is.

* you are entitled to a minimum of 5.6 weeks paid annual leave (28 days for someone working five days a week)
* bank and public holidays can be included in your minimum entitlement
Lul suxtobeyou.

Only if you get those days.
most companies take "public" holidays off your total entitlement.
£380 a day is good, or are you a contractor?
I however get all these days as my normal entitlement. So I get 35 days entitlement (28 days plus 7 bank holidays) Now if i want to take these holidays on bank holiday days then cool I can book it off, if not I can use thse days any other time i want, I am not tied to using them on the set BH days.
To think this needed a thread any nobody ever thought of doing this before, it's not even a trick it's common sense?
I always look out for stuff like this in [placeofwork] calendars. Easter has been pretty good a few years in a row to get extended hols.

Considering Easter and May Bank Holidays were a month apart this year and 3 weeks apart last year...not really!![]()
