I suppose for me was tonight...just splurged £300 on fireworks because i had nothing better to spend it on:p...fiancee went mental but hey it was good fun in the rain lighting up the fireworks and seeing £300 just go up in smoke:p:D.

Next year ill probably spend double to get some fireworks....200 shot fireworks for the win as they say:p

Very true. Cheap tools are a false economy, especially if you plan to get a lot of use out of them.

I have owned my makita drill/driver for about 5 years now and its still going. I think it cost me £170 so thats £34 a year so far. A cheap drill/driver would be burned out in less than a year with the usage I'd put it through. Or smashed to bits falling from a window ledge etc.
 
Probably this £900 TV in front of me.

Just made me more of a recluse, have no real reason to go downstairs now other than get a drink :p
