BB Competing

Give it a while longer shifty, most people have great progress when they first start the gym. It soon slows down and you'll then realise the level you need to go to for competing.

You look pretty much the same in all the pics posted above? Maybe it's because the more recent ones you are further away? Do you have any that would show a direct comparison of before and after?

Not bad results anyway I've been going to the gym for a year now and I've put on over a stone but also hit ~17% BF aswell so I am aware a lot of it is fat :D.

Edit, to add my opinion to the thread, personally I find strength competition much more interesting that training purely for size. I 100% appreciate the amount of effort both styles of training require though and if it's something you want to do as a hobby then why not?

I quite like the idea of being super strong but as light as possible and plan on turning my efforts towards this in a year or two once I have reached a size / shape I am happy with.

If you are looking at strength comps, what difference does your size or shape make?
Answer is easy - none :p

Another option for you which you could try is fitness modelling, which I just got signed to. The company I'm with is called wathletic.com

Anyone can sign up to be listed on their site but must pay a fee, but they also audition prospects like myself that they then promote and do not have to pay the listing fee. Obviously they take a cut of any work you get (20%) but the pay is good. The last one they mailed to me was 3 hours for £120. Still waiting to get my proper photo's done but you can see my listing here: http://www.worldsportsmodel.com/pro/aboney

Didn't realize little work would get that sort of money! Nice.
Gotta say you look great in those pics also, some hard work been done there :)

Thank you, that is the result of healthy eating 5-6 times a day and working out for less than an hour, 5 times a week.
