as i said guys im a seasoned ebayer and wouldnt have touched this with a barge pole if not for the simple fact of buyer protection and back up of credit card payment (so insured) although from now on i only buy from other seasoned ebayers

as i said guys im a seasoned ebayer and wouldnt have touched this with a barge pole if not for the simple fact of buyer protection and back up of credit card payment (so insured) although from now on i only buy from other seasoned ebayers
Many years ago I bought a monitor on ebay, used Paypal and got scammed.
Out of the ~£250 I paid for the monitor I got £10 back as they could only recover funds that were in the users account.
(I think the monitor itself was ~£200 and it was ~£50 for postage. They woudn't cover the postage sum atall, only the item sum)
I know they have changed the way you are covered for purchases now, but as far as I am concerned, I treat buying things on ebay, even via paypay, as if I am completly unprotected.
Hence I wont buy anything thats high value via postage anymore; I go and collect and pay cash once I have seen the item.
Just a shame there are so many fraudsters on there as there are also many legit sellers too and it just spoils things for everyone.

I'm speaking from experience.
I once got burned with a buyer getting a refund and the item so I closed my PP account etc, they sent debt collectors after me.
i hope they send the dogs after the p___k......or go to work on the homes with a blow torch and a pair of pliers
