English League Football ** spoilers ** [6th - 10th November 2010]

Sunderland should have conceded a penalty and been down to ten. Unlucky they've had a few go against them this year.

Oh and I see Shawcross got a red card. First tackle could have been a lot worse for the Sunderland player.

How could it? His studs weren't up, foot was along the ground.

Just been reading Mansour wants Mourinho!
Now i really can see him joining. He likes to shape the club when he joins and spend a lot of money, all of which we can offer and the other teams that can he has already managed. I think it will rest on us getting top 4.
Anyway back to today.
Would like a 4-2-3-1

HAHA :D

You must give a City line-up in every other post of yours, and more often than not it's completely different to the last line-up you posted :o
Never in a million years.

Why? Mourinho to City in a year or so's time seems perfectly logical. If I were to put a bet on Mourinho's next club, it would be City.

edit: As a general point, while I don't pay too much attention to anything Biz says, it does seem that a select few people on here seem to jump on any post he makes and try to rubbish it no matter what he says. It's getting a bit boring.

Oh aye, those two have blatant hard-ons for him.

How on earth did Cattermole get away with handball, twice? Ref must have been blind to miss that.

Most of what he says needs to be rubbished, not all of it though I admit.

I just cant see Mourinho going to Manchester City, I just cant imagine it, that isn't to say its impossible, but I think it would be very unlikely.

Its no shock that Mansour would want Mourinho, I mean, who wouldn't? I think the only clubs that wouldn't sack their current boss for Mourinho are Man Utd and Arsenal.

If I cant reply to posts by him, then that would be a bit silly wouldn't it? He leaves himself open to a lot of the stick he gets.

Oh, and the fact he likes Tinie Tempah AND Manchester City has got him into my bad books, BIG TIME. :p

I'll believe it when I see it. Not saying its impossible, on the contrary its very possible. But for one I think we should have given huges a better crack of the whip, and two as that obviously didn't happen, we need to offer that to Mancini at the very least. I dislike this expendable attitude that 'oh its not working out, no matter we can afford to replace you', that's never been what we're about.

I'm not seeing a performance today either. I think we'll be too focused on the derby, not play to our ability and generally look a little subdued. Either that or we'll run the game and still end up throwing it away. Everyone seems to be upping their game against us just to prove you don't need to spend millions to win.

Depressing performance by a depressing team today in all honesty, and Park, of all people ends up bailing us out... again.

Looks like Utd have been hit badly by several illnesses - and players were on the pitch under the weather

In that context any "3 pointer" is a good result imo

Still csnt decide what result I want from the Liverpool-Chelsea match today though (will be watching the Brazil GP while its on)

we have had decisions like that go against us this season so its a change for it go in our favour..poor old stoke though seem to get it every week.

He's like a concise DM, I like him :)

Although, as Robbo pointed out, the Tinie Tempah liking is a big thing for me.

To the spurs fans, Essou ekotto (sp) surely you can not be happy with him.

Every time I have seen spur's play he has been at fault some where along the line! He is useless.

Hughes got sacked due to a 'downturn in results which Cook believed would not change'...now Mancini is on a downturn but at the end of the day we are 4th and still in prime position to qualify for the europa so Cook doesnt really have any grounds to sack him.
I have a feeling that we will turn it on today and beat them 3-0 or something but it depends who shows up.

To be fair he's just an unbelievably average player, I like to think of him as a vertically challenged, wig-wearing John O'shea

Unless something changes (Injury wise) before kickoff.
Liverpool team is:
.............Reina
Carra...Skrtel....Soto....Konchesky
............Miereles..Lucas
Johnson....Gerrard..........Maxi
.............Torres

Its West Brom ffs, you still want to play 2 defensive midfielders, of which Barry/Toure, at current form neither is fit to be a defensive midfielder anyway, Barry at his best is a terrible defensive player, Toure isn't close to his best.

You've lost 3 games in a row playing 2 defensive midfielders and having issues scoring, don't you want to play a 4-4-2, with the eleventy billion you've spent on attacking players, and have a chance of winning a game.

Honestly, as a non city fan who wants to see attacking good to watch football I'm embarassed for City going to a newly promoted side with almost certainly the intention of playing 2 or even 3 defensive midfielders, its a joke.

As for Mourinho, don't know why people are discounting it, its what he does, though he'll wait for City to be a top two team, almost the finished article then come in and take the credit, thats also what he does best ;)

Mourinho, he likes to spend, wants free reign to hire and fire as he pleases, he isn't going to get that at Utd, they have more to spend than people think but Mourinho won't be there in time for a big summer replacing all the retiring guys and after that, he won't be interested probably.

City + the money, + negotiating to get what he wants = Mourinho's best choice.
