on MW2 connection speed was the biggest advantage you could have. i only hope this cod is different

Quoted for the truth, Host advantage on these games is ridiculous.
this and the 12 year old kids where the 2 main reasons i stopped playing MW2 i couldn't get any better than 2 yellow bars and it ****ed me off.
it doesn't matter how fast your reactions are when your connection makes you half a second slower
im getting ****ed off just thinking about it
As ive paid £5 to preorder this does that mean asda MUST have a copy in stock for me? Im sure there will be a limit how long they will hold it for but i just want to make sure i will have a copy waiting when i arrive, although it wont be later then 0700 so im sure ill beat the post midnight rush.

Whats the host advantage like in this one? Ive not had much of a chance to check killswitches stream but im guessing youve been glued to it so thought it was worth asking.

I honestly think it will be quite bad on this game as the Mp5 is a 5 shot kill with lag a kill may take up to 10 bullets, just think of the UMP 3 bullet kill on MW2 and how long it takes to kill with that when jamming on the trigger without host.
When you are not host the game seems to capture 2/3ds bullets shot from most automatic guns and drops the rest completely. It realy does depend on the connection though.

Im mid way through being upgraded to 100meg. My work is meant to be trialling 100meg in london aswell so when that is finalised il have it for free and il host as much as we want hopefully.

Not sure, i just want them to get into the SP aspect of games and not just MP since they also skipped out on the SP of mw and mw2. Also heard that Blackop's has one of the best Cod storyline to date.
i enjoyed the sp on both MWs only played them once on veteran like. i think the first one was better than the second
although i couldn't do mile high club on veteran i did get an awesome FNG time

my local has only 250 copies, but i'm sure there's not that many people going at midnight/
