*****Ultimate Football Manager 11*****

I think there is something wrong in the game to be honest. So many good players being transfer listed. Couple of days before the end of the transfer window and there should be a few available on frees.
 
I think its a reaction to the 25 man rule in England... seems like it anyhow, where as irl we saw very little impact, I think the game actually conforms to the rules... has its squad set out and any player it dosent fancy in that 25 is readily available at any price.
 
And now I'm getting absolutely battered in the Premier League!

11 games, 1 win, 10 loses so far. :(


Also lost to Plymouth in the second round of the League Cup 2-0! :confused:

i'm a little bit disappointed with myself. i planned to have a fm-filled weekend, but got so embarrassingly drunk on saturday night that i was only able to play for a couple of hours yesterday :( and it's not going badly too. had a 15 game unbeaten run and currently in line for a play-off place. i work 8-8 so get little to no time in the evenings to play:(
 
Some some reason Sunderland fired Steve Bruce, even though they were only in 13th so I cheekily applied for the job! :D

Lost 4-2 to Liverpool first game, then beat Birmingham in FA Cup 3-1 and just beat Villa in the League 3-1. Plus it's January and Niall has been nice and given me lots of money, heres hoping Neymar gets his work permit!!

Gonna have to start remote desktopping home again I think, HOOKED! Trying to get Forest promoted with minimal spending, only bought in a winger whos name is now eluding me!
 
decided to come back to my game this morning after rage quitting last night from all the random poor results, and straight away after taking so much time to try and tweak my tactics i loose straight away 2-0 to hearts, this game is soooooo frustrating.

currently at december with 6 wins, 6 draws and 2 loss's, im hoping to sell some players and get a bit of a transfer budget for january, if i can get some money who are some good realistic targets for rangers?

do you think rooney would make a good Trequartista? his composure is a bit low at 14 but the rest of his stats look good for it, anyone had success with him as this?

Might be worth a punt. If I were to try I'd have him up front, rather than "in the hole". Tbh though, I'd just rather have him as a DLF.

In other news, El Clásico for me tonight. I'm 12 games in and have scored 28 and only conceded 1 - aiming to try to get to Chrimstmas without conceding any more. Tonight will probably scupper that hope though - I've been winding JM up something chronic in the press :p
 
finally pulled away of celtic in the premier league and now 6 points clear :D Miller scores every game!

need some new midfielders and defenders though.
