Call of Duty: Black Ops

Well I've decided to head into town tonight and grab it as I've no faith in my postie whatsoever.

Plus it's the most widespread midnight launch and I've not done one before - 7 stores within 15 mins walking distance lol
 
Tuesday is the only day of the week I can't be home and that's when it's getting delivered, it's the same with other stuff I order, no matter what day I order it, it will always be delivered on a Tuesday. All I'm hoping is that it isn't signed for delivery otherwise I won't have it tommorow either.
 
im having to go at midnight tonight purely as my wife knows about 5 people that are all going about 10pm to que, im not off till 11-11:30pm as ill get very bored stood for nearly 2 hours.

the only midnight launch ive done so far was the PS3 on launch day and we only went to see if id been paid so my misses could get some baby clothes as she was pregnant at the time... i got paid so we decided to get a PS3, joined the que of about 5 people at 23:55 pity the launch games were generally quite poor (motorstom was the only one i really enjoyed) and it cost a lot of money (most of which i got back when the 60gb version shot up in price on ebay).
 
I am thinking of getting one at midnight , but I did that with FIFA, I didn't get home till 2 am , there was like 300 in a que and 1 guy serving . I'd rarther get some sleep then be on till 7 am weds morning for work lol
 
Woohoo im definatly going at midnight now, im on nights but not needed so i dont even have to think about it, unfortunatly im quite likely to be in tomorrow night but should only be for a couple of hours so i cant play all day as i will have to sleep at some point... ive tried to perswade my wife to take our daughter out for the day (or week) but after tomorrow night im not back in till friday so ive got plenty of time to enjoy it.

ive also just purchased a set of Turtle Beach PX21's as it will be nice to respond to all the abuse you get off the kids and a quick play on WaW its amazing how much more you hear.

The omg I got a email stuff was just as irritating a year ago as well ;)

I grew up in a house where you learnt patience at an early age, unlike kids today when I wanted something I earnt it or had to wait. No one can wait anymore for anything. ;)

I've always been a one game at a time player and have other stuff I'm playing right now. So I don't need to play this other than in MP. The single player will be passable anyway. The only way I'm doing Vet this time is at work so I get paid to play it. Certainly not wasting my own free time playing the same game again.

Mw2 was such a let down I will wait this time to see others thoughts on the MP before I break the seal. The reviews never play long enough to look at all the flaws.

a) you have the game

b) you're a critic by your own admission.

Why dont YOU open the game and tell us whats its like. :p I cant imagine your missus is very happy if your give/take ratio in bed is as bad as this ;)
 
Grrr mine didnt arrive today...****ing ****s lol...oh well probably be tommorrow by the looks of it...just needed something to ease my boredom in the evening.

Guess ill get back to playing F1 tonight.

lol, just watching a stream on justin.tv of some guying trying to quickscope and failing miserably, finally it seems to be sorted.

im sure there will be X ammount of complaints they want fixing for COD:8 next year
