Call of Duty: Black Ops

dont beleive it,my local tesco never get games or blurays in,so i never check,even tho its a 5 min walk from my house.I went today to get some pepsi max,and bang infront of me is a cardboard thing with black ops on,i paid £42 from shopto and i got black ops plus 2100 points for £42 from tesco, i am never pre ordering from online shop again

Not sure if there is any truth in that statement, what with many Tesco pre-orders not delivered.

In reality its luck of the draw and I guess with pre-order if you order along way before release you improve your chances.

I'm amazed anyone pre-orders at all, especially since the MW:2 Supermarket war last time!
 
Bah i said 1000 times that I wouldn't buy this after the rage fest MW2 multiplayer was. When I got back from work this morning the missus wanted to do the shopping and the display they had on at Tesco's was just too tempting!:o

whichever day its delivered be it today or tomorrow (at work so cant check) i've not been stung on price - which is what ONESHOT felt after pre ordering for £42 then finding it in store at tesco for cheaper

I got so annoyed with MW2, but I know myself I will have to avoid walking past any game shops...
 
Shopto are usually the best for despatching same day and it dropping through your door the day after. Dont they have a guaruntee to have it to you on the day or they credit your acount £3?

My tesco order hasnt arrived yet, though I think my fifa 10 order came by courier a year ago so hoping that it comes today, otherwise hoping my very order does too :)

Just to check. Does the game need (come with) a code to access online?
Or is it like the other COD's?

Just checking as I may want to sell the game after a while and want to know the value it will hold.
 
Don't know why anyone preorders, even at Asda and Tesco.

The preorder line was huge in Asda and there was only one till for it, where as people just walking in to buy were served much faster.
 
Might pick this up on the way home, providing that A. I can use club card vouchers to buy it, or B. some vouchers I got from a work's raffle can be used at Tess Kay...

Question - my Google searching fails and I'm also pretty lazy, but does this have co-op like WAW?

I think its because they got a free shirt or something as this morning there was loads of searching trying to find a XL shirt. Guessing that's what caused most of the delays :p
