Call of Duty: Black Ops

Love it! Will play the single player tonight but the multiplayer is ace :)
 
Having a quick blast now on Veteran and I must say it's been excellent so far the campaign has. Also Veteran feels quite easy if you take your time and pick people off, bar 1 or 2 enemies who charge at you Kamikaze style.

Will give MP a go once all the single player Trophies are done :)
 
Christ, I amend my other post about the difficulty.

Doing the bit where you have to kill Dragovic or whatever his name is underground in these tunnels. I swear the enemies keep re-spawning as I can't seem to progress forward, 3 shots and you're it on Veteran and i've got nowhere to run for cover or to progress as i'm in a really tight corridor.

Any help appreciated on how to do htis.
 
Is anyone else having problems joining or creating lobbies with their friends? They get the message that lobby is full when I'm not in a lobby and I get the message game server full when they're not in a lobby. Quite frustrating.

Other than that, the MP seems much more refined. The maps seemed to have been designed so you can't really just run and gun.

In Bury St Edmunds - walked to Asda for lunch, lady on the entertainment desk opened up a tote box. Loads of copies. Paid walked out.
 
Also been let down by Tesco. :(
Getting it delivered to work as well and have the next two days booked off.
Looks like I'll be picking it up from somewhere tonight and returning the Tesco's one.

I say blame Danny, he posted the deal. :mad::D
 
I popped down to Sainsbury's about 0930 this morning and parted with £37.97 for my copy; I could have saved about £10 by waiting for a week for delivery, but as someone who never buys new games, I fancied a mini-splash-out :)

First impressions are good! Very good! :D

I feel there is a greater level of authenticity to the game instantly - I'm not talking about realism or accuracy but just more of a hard-hitting, genuine feel to the gameplay. When I shoot someone, if not fatal, they nearly fall over or stumble back, the rifle shots feel 'weighted' and the explosions more intense!

I jumped on a couple of rounds of Zombies which was instant, pick up and play fun with some very amusing sound effects :D

I've only jumped into the very start of the single player campaign but are already finding it entertaining, action packed and varied :)

Well worthy of purchase and just feels 'better' than MW2 to me instantly :)

Same story for me :(

Im away to head out and see if I can pick it up from anywhere. Ill be returning the Tesco copy when it comes through.
