Should we remain a part of what the EU is billed as, and should be? Yes. Should we remain a part of the EU as it is in its current state? I don't think so.

No, we can trade with other large countries now like China, India etc so don't need EU so much.

No, we should leave, on the condition that we were still a member of the EEC, specifically the EFTA, like Norway and Iceland (etc.).

The best parts of european membership (job, trade and travel freedom) but none of the bad parts.

I couldn't make a decision until the full details were laid out. I don't support full withdrawal from the EU, more of a renegotiation of position towards a Norway style agreement with more reasonable net contributions and only the trade related laws.

If that wasn't an option, I'd choose to stay in.

The other, oft overlooked issue (the same is often overlooked by Scottish and Welsh nationalists) is what deal we would be able to achieve... That might also be enough to swing the vote one way or another for me. Leaving is not simply a unilateral decision, there will be consequences, and just as we would argue for the best deal, so would everyone else.

I'm going with yes at the moment as I think we're better as a member than not generally speaking including (perhaps especially) for legislation such as the ECHR. However I do think that there could be some revision to the powers and membership requirements or at least some discussion about it would not go amiss.

We should deepen our ties. The sooner we get rid of the stupid currency that is Sterling, the better.

Poor misguided fool, I really worry about this country with idiots like you around.

The Euro is a lame duck watch the eurozone spiral into chaos once Ireland folds.

What deal is required to be made?

Revert back to EFTA/EEC level of european organisation.

It's all talk of punative action. Without evidence or precedent.

I keep hearing there will be consequences from pro EU corners, but everyone is rather sketchy on the detail.

Leaving could be as simple as unilateral descision.

Do we keep aid? Do we have to pay it back? What happens to projects funded with EU rather than UK money? Etc etc...

Revert back to EFTA/EEC level of european organisation.

This is just one aspect of the deal that would have to be discussed. The rest of the EU might not want to agree to that.

It isn't talk of punative action, any more than the suggestion that if Scotland separated from the UK, that there would be an expected deal and withdrawl of UK paid for industries and setups from Scotland would occur. It isn't punative, it's related to who paid for what, and it's entirely justified to discuss when talking about separating from the current situation to a new one. Both sides are going to fight for the 'best' deal for them, which will, of course, be the worst deal for the other side, and so a compromise will be hammered out.

I keep hearing there will be consequences from pro EU corners, but everyone is rather sketchy on the detail.

That's because its never happened... That makes it somewhat difficult to see how it will actually work, and what deal would be on the table for a new relationship.

Leaving could be as simple as unilateral descision.

It could be, but it might not be, that's why I said I wouldn't vote without more information as to the consequences ;)
