Anyone work for Fujitsu IT Services?

Did you get any compensation for the additional travel as my new question is what happens if Hook contract ceases, will staff be move to Bracknell?

About to turn it down and see what happens with Steria I think. No idea if it's the right or wrong move.

that bad already? lol
to be fair, Fujitsu are not as bad to work WITH (nhs here) compared to BT/HP.

By the sounds of it he never joined Fujitsu.

Correct and I'm refering to my current company.

Just turned it down, whether it's the right or wrong thing to do. Just had enough of the sleepless nights from thinking about it.

Agency has now sent me a string of panic emails.. Not 100% about it etc.

hah of course they will, they are losing out on all that commission :p

Indeed and one part of working in IT that I detest - the recruitment "consultants".. Glorified sales people...

So far 4 voice mails... Will see what happens in the next 6 - 8 months and go from there.

I used to work for Fujitsu many years ago when ICL got taken over. I now work for Computacenter and have been for the past 3.5 years.

I doubt CC is any better or worse than Fujitsu, however I know for a fact that we have taken over a number of Fujitsu customers in the past 12 months, one in the banking sector that most will have heard of.

CC isnt' great, there is a lot wrong internally, but there are a lot of good people and some days it's almost good to work for them.

Pay wise, it's OK, although I have a 500 mile a week commute which costs me cost to £300 a month. We're trying to decide now if to move closer to the office, or stay where we are and I find something else. Fujistu are based in Bracknell right? ;)

Computacentre...PFT! :p
