Leeds or Sheffield where would you chose to live?

Spend some time in them both, it's really the only way for you to decide.

I'm going to take away my own point that I'm about to make, but here goes. Leeds has everything that Sheffield has only more of it and better, except private hospitals. Having said that, people will generally choose the place they've spent more time in. I've definitely spent more time in Leeds, so take from that what you will.

I'd go for Sheffield, it's the greenest city in the UK and is a fabulous place to live and work, working in the city centre you can live on Ecclesall road which is nice and chilled which puts you in easy walking distance of work, good bars/restaurants and only an hours stroll from the edge of the peak district!

Leeds is nice I just prefer the small friendly feeling of sheffield and the fact that there are really nice areas within easy walking distance of the city centre. Your office in leeds being out of town would also be a massive turn off for me, I hate commuting and having a lunch break on an industrial estate is dire!

I'm from Sheffield, have been to Leeds quite a lot, I prefer it here in Sheffield. Then again I am in a pretty nice area and rarely get to see the parts which would put you off the city, however it's a good place to live to be honest.
