40% plus 10% off the 40% on EA Store

Yay loved the fact I got the game so cheapy.. but EADM sucks serious B***s.. Its stuck my download at 99.9% and will not do anything. I can't seem to fix this what ever I do.

Hmmm, MOH for £13.49! Very tempting! Multiplayer is most important for me though, could anyone compare it to BC2 for me?

Ok.

I am a big fan of the BF series. 2000 hours on BF2. 370 hours so far on BC2. I got gifted MoH from a friend as I told him it would be total rubbish. I played it and thought it is ok. I then played it spome more and thought this is actually quite good. I have now passed 60 hours and rather annoyingly, BC2 now seems boring to me.

BC2 is bigger, more complex and more tactical.

MoH is just an all guns blazing FPS shooter. The graphics are good. The maps, though compact, are well though out. It is very easy to max your character out. There are only a handful of guns and only three classes.

It is a relatively simple game but I think they set out to make it a good shooter and they have been most successful. :)

WELL worth £13.49.

I am put off buying MoH because of the flaky EA Store and the hassle of patching games on there, as I know from experience of owning a few other games using that system. They don't auto patch nor necessarily supply you with the latest version of the game, so you have to hunt for the specific region patch which works with the digital version etc. (eg. I have NFS ProStreet and the patch which works is the North American one, not the UK or EU one! Even though I did supposedly buy the UK version of the game.)

If you go to the official MoH website and click on patches, it just takes you to the generic EA help section rather than a download link for the patch you need. I know it would be a headache and I'd probably rather pay more to get it on Steam to avoid the stress.

Well, after taking MoH for £13.50 I have to say that I'm utterly disgusted by the EA download manager.

Despite being on a 10mb connection (which somehow pulls 30mb from time to time) I've still only managed to download 6gb of the game in 3 days. Speeds seem to now be stuck at 49kbps with frequent messages about being disconnected and needing to manually unpause the file.

Not only am I getting awful speeds but the damn program decides to maximise itself every 10 minutes or so; not too bad when web browsing but a bloody ball ache when trying to watch a film or play a game.

I'll stick to steam in future.

Do me a favour and check

"C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Core\logs"

Work around is get disc/torrent and just use the EA cd key, i got mine up and running tonight finally

forgot to pre-order this !! so it's out at some point today ? hope a 10% off voucher (EA Cokezone) works with the quidco discount also..

thought Burnout Paradise was brilliant so with Criterion coding it I have high hopes, just some fun arcade malarkay !!

Okay - I have just bought MoH and Saboteur with the 40% off - Great!

Got the e-mail stating that I can now start downloading them, however they do not appear in my Games list in the EA download manager.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Is this normal?

If I sign into the EADM it shows me all the games I've bought, with options to download the ones I don't currently have installed.
