COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Usually playing normal TDM here but thinking of moving to hardcore, anything I should know that's extra for it?

Feel of the MP is similar to WaW which I enjoyed a lot so will probably be my main game for a while, maybe add another thread for PC OcUK in-game Steam friends list as another thread or in addition to this one?

I agree and I have played plenty of HC on most COD games. Two or three bullets with any gun in anyone's general direction and you get a kill. The game just becomes a contest of who reacts first and not who actually has the best aim.
 
This games ******* me off now. I admit im not so great on this for some reason and the first time im having a great round it lags me out...i keep getting random spikes and it then chucks me out. Argggh!!
 
Oh, oh. I just had my first few games of HC TDM. It's miles better! More slowly paced and less "leg it around everywhere and go nuts". It feels like CS :)
 
I play exclusively hardcore, tried normal again the other day and realised why I hated it, spraying a full clip into someone before they die is pathetic. Hardcore is the closest to the original CoD/CoD:UO gameplay that I loved so much.
 
Just finished a hardcore CTF match on my server. Final score was 39-3 with 0 captures and 0 flag returns. I know what your all going to say camping bla bla this isnt tdm.

I actually sat and defended my teams flag for the whole game even when switching sides.

They never capped and only once got it out of my line of sight, even then i shot him through a wall. Was on teamspeak with the guy as hes a clan member, he was quite unhappy :)

You may say well why no returns, thats because i was covering the flag while a team mate returned it. Even managed to hold off 4 people (and kill) within 10 -15 seconds.

Was gonna host the game on youtube but my recent games are not showing it :(
 
Just played in the TFU server with only a few of us in there, it was silky smooth no lag nothing, joined full 18man server and it was a complete lag fest, so I'm thinking it's crappy GS that just can't handle the load.

Its games like that which are the most fun by a longshot to be fair when you go against actually good defence and have to coordinate attacks lol
