Call of Duty: Black Ops

Wow, im sorry, but am I just amazingly crap at this game or has the game got really hard since MW2??

Im not the best COD player, but on COD4 and MW2 i was getting at least a 1.5 k/d ratio, on here I get like 4 kills and 20 deaths - whats going on???

Yeah I suppose if lots of people get kills then the limit of points is reached before they can get 30+

I saw someone get 65 kills yesterday and we still lost. It was on HQ and it was one big lag fest. I wonder if the 65 kill guy was the host? :p

On Domination I got 50 kills/10deaths I think it was. I think some of the guns are utter fail. They seem weaker then the one's in MW2. I'm saying that since it takes 7/10 bullets to kill someone.

I shot a guy in the back yesterday with the Famas and it took 5 bullets. And that's in the back.

Are you winning thats all that counts. Some games I'm positive, sometimes I'm 20 for 4 like you because I'm throwing myself at objectives even if it's just to distract at A while eveyone captures at B.

As long as I win I don't care anymore with this one. Back to the way I used to play Cod4 and I love it.

Tried it again this morning when i had a spare 5 mins between the missus and the kids wanting the tv and i have managed to have the odd game. Does anyone else suffer from disconnecting from live? Happened a couple of times now while in the middle of a game.
 
I've been playing this on the PS3 in multiplayer mode with my brother. We both have separate accounts in the multiplayer mode but how do I select which account to use? When I want to play multiplayer on my own it automatically selects my brothers account and I can't see my account anywhere unless I turn on the second controller.

Which game have you been playing?! Wait until somebody has the chopper gunner or gunship in the air. Unless you spawn indoors you are screwed. It just goes spawn,die,spawn,die,spawn,die. You just can't escape them. Last night somebody got the gunship and I got killed 7 times in a row instantly after spawning:mad:

what perks/guns/equiptment/attachments do you guys use?

Guns i've just been using the ak47u or Galil. With suppressor and/or reflex site.
Grendaes are semtex and stun or decoy grenade.
Equipment either jammer or claymore.
Perks are:
Ghost or flack jacket
Warlord or sleight of hand.
Hacker. I've not even bought another tier 3 perk,I will when get ninja when the sound is sorted.

I believe all the cod games since cod4 had constant respawning and yes it is annoying at time but if you can move up towards your objective then your AI team should do so also , i have seen some bad AI both friendly and enemy in the campaign .

Stick with it, thats the hardest part of the game and once through that the rest is a breeze.
The only other part that caused me any trouble was the tank part of one of the last levels.

I play Domination mainly, and yes I do throw myself at flags - I love it when I throw myself at B for example, loads of people around and no one helps out - brilliant. That obviously cranks it up.

It just seems like it takes about 7 shots to kill people, and I get killed in about 2 - whats that about?

My k/d ratio is 0.70 or something. I simply can't do well because one game i'll get 15 kills and 5 deaths or something and then the next game,same lobby,i'll get 2 kills and 11 deaths:confused:
 
I play a lot of Headquaters, I have a K/D of 1.3 and don't camp(I spend most of my time near the headquaters, so why am I ALWAYS on the losing team? My win rate is like 0.2, and I don't like losing...any tips to get the wins up?
 
Gonna sell it now I think, the single player is decent but mp there are way to many things wrong with it,zombies are class but there is no way I will play this mp for a year , so gonna sell it while it's worth a decent price .

Naught words on an 18 rated game.... shouldn't be allowed :rolleyes: It's like making 18 rated horror movies less scary just incase young kids may watch it.

Other than the spawn issues, whats wrong with the multiplayer? Mine still hasn't arrived yet, so I'm only going by what I have read. Spawning seems to be the only major problem, but its getting fixed isn't it?
 
Sound is terrible, if you get host you get a massive advantage , I was host last night was getting close to 50 kills with fal I coulndt miss , yet a match befor that I couldn't hit a thing when I wasn't host , was never this bad on mw2. The drop shooting is annoying with people seem to go invincible when they start dropping , the issue with partys , I think I am in lobbies more then in a game , you can sit in a party forever if one muppet has strict nat, the constant voting for same map over and over .I think hit markers are worse then mw2 , I had a vid on my theatre were I shot the wall big hit marker X on wall , I knew I shot the wall , yet managed to get a headshot on a guy next to it planting bomb. It's prob nit picking but I don't see point in playing a game that's worse then a game I bought a year ago
