I can't wait for this game. I'm glad there are some old cars in there as well, starlets/evos/imprezas/civic eg's/ek's.

Should be a good game. Just hope the physics/handling ain't bad.
 
Still can't get my head around the fact that it will be in my PS3 in 10 days time.:eek:

I'm trying to convince myself that its too cold to buy a new motorbike and it would be better to treat myself to a G27/Fanatec.
 
In theory GT5 should be a gigantic event but its been so long maybe people forgot about it. I remember top gear doing an episode on gt4 and laguna seca thats pretty mainstream and well deserved as it was a great game

I say Kudos to mr Latte because if you gonna be obcessed about anything and go totally over the top then make it about something that could be excellent like GT5
Reminds me of the kid who had all the best and most expensive toys, totally jealous :D

Most anticipated car for me would be something like delta integrale because it can be thrown around so much with oversteer and still be controlable.
Standard benchmark car I always try on a game to see if it is just arcade bumper cars or not, is the dodge viper, if it handles like a sledge hammer I have hope for more

Don't worry, Mr Latte's strops are a fairly regular occurrence. I've lost track of the number of times he's said he'll never be back and he always returns. It's rather amusing.

He needs to realise that people don't hate him or his opinions, but he also needs to realise that other people have differing opinions to his own and being so utterly opposed to alternate points of view does not make a discussion, it makes an argument, and he seems utterly incapable of agreeing to disagree.

He does appear to have a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Gran Turismo however.

Mr Latte knows, or appears to know GT5 or the GT Series like the back of his hand. I didn’t know he had a habit of throwing his toys out the pram and stomping off in a strop. But then we all get a bit defensive of our pet loves. The guy clearly loves the GT Series and he’s invested some time and money into what sounds (I’ve not seen any pictures to tell me otherwise) a pretty nice GT race environment.

Maybe he does have a bit of an unhealthy obsession with GT5 but then we all tend to get a bit obsessed with stuff in our lives – its how far we allow it to take over..!! lol

I’m sure he’ll be back, bragging about how superb his cockpit is.. I do hope he does, and posts pictures. We all deserve to see something most of our missus would have a cow over…!! If I tried to create a GT5 cockpit the missus would dump me. Period..!!
 
I'm hearing rumours that driving cars into walls at silly speeds just gives you a dented front bonnet. Is this true? :(
I love GT and have owned all of em.

Bit like how you drive an F1 car at full pelt in F1 2010 and just lose a front wing?

Anyhow, I hope to drive clean laps and win races other then smash the cars up.. lol But I can see why you'd want to see cars destroyed. Seems its in our nature to smash stuff up, games such as these allow you to do just that.. Until you try it and you just bounce off with a dented front bumper and your bonnet pops open and thats it...

Shame...
