Does the answer annoy you?

So you have 1 mile to travel
to average it 60mph

If it is 90miles an hour you would finish it in like 45 seconds? which means the average won't be 60mph as because the first mile was 1 min, second mile was 45 seconds.

If you go slower than 90mph to make the second mile last 1 minute then your after speed will be lower than 60mph.

Am I right?

How long does it take to travel your first mile at 30mph?
How much time do you have to travel the two miles if you want to average 60mph over the two mile trip?

the first mile at 30mph would take 2 min....

right...second mile would need to be ...oh !
 
the answer is better time managment,

set of 2 mins earlier, or travel faster in the first part of the journey, or possibly drive at a safe speed a few mins eaither way does not matter......

I got my first job but answering all their stupid questions like that
 
Then that would be 3 miles, which is not asked. Only that the second mile has to reach a top speed to average 60mph.
