*****Ultimate Football Manager 11*****

This game does frustrate me with its unrealism. I've just got promoted to the Prem and currently sit 10th after 9 games, played the "big four" and still top half yet I am having to have constant conversations with players as they've lost confidence with me.

Then there's the fans expectations which are always ridiculous.

Anyone think they've got the refs tuned wrong in this game? Seems far too easy to get red cards, I've just reached the half way point of the Serie A season and there are.....seventy five red cards. That seems way to high to me :confused: I mean there have only been 26 reds irl in the EPL so far this year from 6 less games!

Oldham had 101 yellows in a season on my game. Does that seem high twice as many yellow cards as goals?
 
Leicester are looking like really good fun.

Good squad as it stands. £8 - £10 Million budget. Link with Benfica.

Looking at transfers and still on my first day with them.

By distance, they're my local side now I live in Leicester as well :p
 
thinking of 1 more signing for my squad but not sure what position to go for.

I had a rage quit earlier in my third champions league game. Man Utd getting hammered 5-0 away to a small team (i forgot the name) after 70 minutes. Same team and tactics that only just lost 2-1 at Real Madrid and have won every game in the PL thus far. I'll have to see what else i can do next time.
 
I've not "rage quit" since Fm 10 but I've not had this too long :p

I have however head butted the table in anger and screamed (no words just a general noise) this was while playing in Cafe Nero in the city centre on my Macbook Pro.

Every single person turned and looked at me.
 
I don't know why I bother holding staff meetings , they talk out of their backsides half the time. Reina had gone 12 matches without conceding a goal, then he let one in (1-1 draw) and in the staff meeting my first team coach says to drop him because of lack of form !!

I'm guessing you used an editor to load yourself up with cash? After two seasons with utd I've bought Hazard and Srna, and have only got 4m in the bank.

HAHA! there's that manc comedian with the same like as being city on the train to london with some guy next to him taunting him....

Its happened to me in airports a few times playing and making loud OOOOO noises with people just looking confused at whats going on...
 
I'd just managed to get Bale and then he went and semi killed himself in his second friendly game.

Words failed me.

I did announce "Football manager" and they continued to look at me as if I was some sort of looney.
 
Does anyone know how to get another like report on your team?

Like at the start you have the "poor dribbling, good passing, poor height" anyway of getting another one like that?

Nope dont no how to use one, 1st season I had 21 mill, sold a couple players to get it to bout 40 then I bought plays at 5 mill + xxx mill over 48 months

Bought chiellini and snjeider just now at beginning of 3rd season, I had 70 mill transfer budget. Not sure how much I had in 2nd season.

In bed now but can post more info tomorrow.
